Sad day when we have to leave the ship :(

Arrived in Barcelona this morning and had to head out. Spending the day in the Gava Mar area in Barcelona. We had planned to walk the city but it's a good distance from this neighborhood and we're EXHAUSTED!

While we waited to be able to get into our hotel we stumbled on a little cafe on the beach here in Gava Mar and stopped for a bite. Simple fare but pretty good. Pulled pork nachos and a burger with sauteed onions and goat cheese.

For our final european meal we walked down to a restaurant called Torreon. We had Daurada a la Sal (salt crusted Dorada), Filet Graella (Veal filet chargrilled), Crema Catala Melinor (a twist on a creme brule), and Pastis Xoco Gelat Bla (warm chocolate cake and white chocolate ice cream)
