The mountains in the area are the source of most of the marble used in the famous sculptures of the area as well as continued to be used today. The white areas are not snow, that is the quarry sites of the marble harvesting.

Pink Agave is the mexican restaurant onboard. the small plates and medium plates are served family style to be shared. Tonight we chose the guacamole, esquites (grilled corn), pumpkin soup (today's special small plate0, empanadas (today's special medium plate) papas con chorizo, cochinita pibil (smoked pork), and relleno vegano (potato and corn stuffed pepper). Desserts were tacos de chocolate and the bread pudding.

We failed to get a few pictures of some of the small and medium plates, so you'll have to take what was on one of our plates and use your imagination for what it looked like when it was served.
