After an already late night flight was delayed leaving Chicago, none of us had a ton of energy today to do a lot. But, we did have a great view from the hotel. ()

We went for a visit to Alcatraz in the afternoon

Having seen the facility makes it even harder to imagine what life there was really like. My brain just cannot wrap itself around what it must have been.
