Today was a later arrival than we see at most ports. 2:30pm arrival in Juneau (Alaska time!). A bit foggy in the morning but the views were spectacular as we eased our way into the area.

Since we weren't getting into port until mid afternoon, we had some time for some shipboard activities. Julie and Angie played a quick cornhole tournament. They lost first round, but are taking some consolation in the team that beat them went on to win it all.

A quck walk around Juneau and then we're off to the main attraction -- Sled Dog Summer Camp!
We got to learn a bit about sled dog racing and see the summer camp area for the dogs -- apparently these dogs are sent to Alaska from their home states for the summer where they can work out in cooler temperatures to keep them happy and healthy.
One of the dog teams pulled us around on a wheeled cart through a 1.5-2 mile course.

Then what I think is everyone's favorite part -- PUPPIES!

Oh yeah, and there was some nice scenery too, but who cares about that when there are cute little fuzzballs to play with
We managed to get back on board around 9pm with a 1030 sail away. Sorry folks, no yummy food pictures today - we just hit the buffet for a quick bite and then crashed soon after.
