For our final european meal we walked down to a restaurant called Torreon.  We had Daurada a la Sal (salt crusted Dorada), Filet Graella (Veal filet chargrilled), Crema Catala Melinor (a twist on a creme brule), and Pastis Xoco Gelat Bla (warm chocolate cake and white chocolate ice cream)

While we waited to be able to get into our hotel we stumbled on a little cafe on the beach here in Gava Mar and stopped for a bite.  Simple fare but pretty good.  Pulled pork nachos and a burger with sauteed onions and goat cheese

Arrived in Barcelona this morning and had to head out.  Spending the day in the Gava Mar area in Barcelona.  We had planned to walk the city but it's a good distance from this neighborhood and we're EXHAUSTED!

We had a chance on the last night to see the premiere of the newest show called Persephone.

One final dinner at The Wake.

Wedge salad, Potato and Leek Soup, New York Strips, potatoes, creamed spinich, and the desserts of lemon cheesecake and the specialty chocolate dessert named after the restaurant called The Wake.

We had a brief opportunity to walk around the modern district of Valencia including viewing the opera house and science center buildings.

Our tour included lunch at a local restaurant.  The main course was pork cheek.  Very tender and tasty.

Sea day brunch including brioche french toast, soft shell crab benedicts, apple tatin, and a crepe layer cake.  Also had a nice view.
